Over 100 Years of Amps Fine Wines

Amps Fine Wines is a 4th generation independent wine merchant based in Oundle, where the shelves have been bursting with an exciting range of wines from around the world since 1901. We combine a passion for wines of character, style and value with total dedication to the independently minded wine drinker and friendly, knowledgeable service. We've got an overflowing trophy cabinet, having won more awards in recent years than you can wiggle a corkscrew at! The latest... New Zealand, South Africa & Rioja Merchant of the Year 2008, Discover the Origin Winners 2009, Peterborough Business of the Year 2009 and Australia Merchant of the Year 2010 (all awarded by the generic bodies). We've tasted all of our wines too (yes, it's a hard life!) because we refuse to sell wines that we wouldn't love to drink ourselves, so we'll often say 'if you don't like it, bring it back because we'll drink it!'

We're open six days a week  (but you can shop online 24/7) offering free tastings of various wines. We also offer free car parking for our customers, or if you prefer delivery can be arranged throughout mainland UK and often across the world.

Wines and spirits are sold by the bottle or cases (including mixed cases) which are offered with a 10% discount. A full sale or return party service is available (because we all ove a good bash!) for which we can provide bags of ice, polypins of beer and free glass loan. Please ask us for details!
